The University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, Established in 1964,is known to be the oldest university in South Africa. It focuses on business studies. The university comprises four centers. It majorly researches in five fields, namely Culture, diversity, & dynamics; Entrepreneurial development, and sustainable business, emerging economies and the impact on economic development, infrastructure and regulation, and Development, innovation & technology. In addition, the university has initiated a solution space program, which was developed for early-stage start-ups and a research and development platform for corporates. The university is in partnership with the MTN Group.
The university campus features four centers, namely Bertha Centre, Allan Gray Centre for Value-Based Leadership, Managing Infrastructure Reform & Regulation Centre, and the Centre for Coaching. The students can avail of all the necessary facilities at the campus. They experience a calm learning environment. All the fests, events, competitions, seminars, and quizzes conducted by the university are organized within the campus. The campus is close to two popular tourist attractions, namely Alfred Waterfront and Victoria. Also, the campus is located at a distance of about 20.4 km from Cape Town International Airport. The campus is set nearby many general stores and medical shops.
