The University of California, Los Angeles was founded in the year 1919 and is spread across a land of over 419 acres. It is ranked among the top 10 universities for Biological Engineering, Medical, Modern Languages, Chemistry, Literature, Communication and Media studies, Psychology, and Mathematics. It is the second-oldest university, after the University of California, Berkley. UCLA is counted among the best higher educational institutes in the country.
