The Texas A&M University is an institution of public research that is located in Texas in the United States. It is the only university in Texas that has been designated as a land, sea, and space grant institution. It was also inducted as a member of the Association of American Universities in 2001. Since the year 1948, it has been serving as the founding member of the Texas A&M University System, which is among the nation’s 10 largest endowments. Texas A&M University was recognized as one among the top 20 institutions of research by the National Science Foundation in 2009. Even The Wall Street Journal has ranked it second nationally in terms of helping students get a job in key career professions.
Spread over an area of 5,200 acres, the main campus of Texas A&M University is considered to be one among the largest in the United States. Its main campus situated in College Station which is home to more than 64,000 plus students.
