The KLC Also known as King’s College London is a public research institution of higher education which was founded by Arthur Wellesley and King George IV in 1829. It is known to the 4th oldest university in England and it is also the part of Russel Group. It has a total of five campuses including Strand Campus (founding campus of King’s), Guy’s Campus, Waterloo Campus, St Thomas’ Campus and Denmark Hill Campus. The Strand is built near Somerset House on land provided to college’s property.

Medicine has been taught at Guy’s Campus and St Thomas’ Campus for many years. Earlier, the college has five departments including Theological, General Literature and Science, Applied Sciences, Medical and Military but today university academics are divided into 9 faculties including almost 100 departments and schools

It is amongst the top 40 universities across the globe in QS World University Rankings, and also one of the oldest in England. King’s has approximately 31,000 students including more than 12,800 graduate students from around 150 countries worldwide with over 8,500 employees including faculty and staff. The University has over worldwide partner institutions allowing undergraduates and other students to study abroad depending upon the time period.

  • King’s College London provides on campus accommodation facilities to its students and the majority of King’s residences are in central London, and most are close to King’s teaching campuses.

    Accommodation Services offers a wide range of accommodation:
    • Self-catered halls of residence
    • Apartments: self-catering for four to eleven students; each room with en-suite shower and WC
    • Studios: self-contained units with en-suite shower/WC and kitchenette
    • Intercollegiate Halls: all full-time King’s students can also apply for a place in one of the seven
