The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, Established in 1961, is an Institute of National Importance funded by the Government of India. The deemed university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and has been accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade.

NIT Rourkela admission cycle for UG and PG courses starts in September and March, respectively. Candidates can apply for the course of their choice in online mode.
