IIT Indore Admission Process
The admission process of IIT Indore is mentioned below:
- IIT Indore BTech admission is based on a candidate’s JEE Advanced rank followed by JoSAA Counselling
- For admissions to MTech programme, candidates are required to have a valid GATE score
- Those who are applying for MSc, their admission will be based on the score of IIT JAM
- For admissions to the PhD programme, candidates have to appear for the entrance examination. Also, their academic records and performance of personal interview will be taken into consideration
Candidates from reserved categories will be offered relaxation in accordance with regulations of the Government of India.
IIT Indore Placements
The placement cell at the institute works to strengthen the network between the corporate world and the students. The institute has achieved more than 90 per cent placements in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 placement sessions. For the session of 2018-19, 90.6 per cent of the students were placed in prominent organisations.

IIT Indore Scholarships
IIT Indore offers several scholarship schemes to students under different criteria. Students are offered Merit Cum Means scholarships as well as need-based scholarships on the basis of their parent’s income as well as academic records.
Other than this, students can apply for the Central Sector Scholarship for SC / ST students and Foundation for Excellence Scholarship. Also, Samsung India Electronics Private Limited offers scholarships to students completing graduation from all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. It will be given on the basis of their merit at the JEE Main (Advanced).
Other Scholarship Schemes include DAAD Scholarship, Commonwealth Scholarship, NHFDC Scholarship and IBM PhD Fellowship Programme.
