Delhi E Pass Curfew in Delhi for a week: In Delhi, curfew passes are being issued to facilitate free movement. Here is a step-by-step guide you can follow to apply for an ePass for marriage and travel.

However, due to the massive surge in the Covid-19 crisis, the Delhi government on Monday announced a citywide lockdown for 6-days, starting from April 19 at 10 pm to April 26 at 5 am.

Announcing the lockdown, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that, “If we continue to report that many Covid-19 cases every day, I am afraid the healthcare system will collapse.”

Addressing the press conference, Delhi CM said that the essential services, food services, medical services will continue.“Weddings can be held with a gathering of only 50 people, passes will be issued separately for it. A detailed order will be issued shortly,” he further added.

Lockdown in Delhi 2021: How to apply for an ePass for marriage and travel

Here is a step-by-step guide you can follow to apply for an ePass for marriage and travel.

Step 1: First you need to open any browser and visit the official website of delhi.gov.in.

  • Visit the Official Website link given here
  • The application form will be displayed on your screen.

Step 2: On the homepage, you need to click on the option of E-Pass.

Step 3: On the next page you will get two options English and Hindi. Select the language in which you would like to proceed.

Step 4: Next from the drop-down menu select ‘e-Pass for travel during Curfew‘ and Submit.

Step 5: Now, you need to fill the form and enter all the asked details, like:

  • Contact number
  • Name of applicant
  • District
  • Address of Office or place of engagement
  • Types of service
  • From Date
  • Till Date
  • From Time
  • To Time
  • ID Proof
  • Any other document like Visiting Card, Shop/Business License, etc

Step 6: After entering all the details click the checkbox and Submit.

Step 7: Once your application will be approved, you will receive an SMS.

So once you receive a confirmation, you can easily download the ePass or can take a hard copy of it for use. However, as per the official website, if you already hold a Night/Weekend curfew ePass, you do not have to re-apply. Your ePass shall automatically be considered valid till April 26th, 2021.

Now applicants can apply for the curfew pass for individual and vehicle who provides essential service via WhatsApp. You just need to send your details on the number. Following details you need to forward:

Points To Be Remember

If you already have curfew pass till the date 14th April 2020 or 3rd May 2020 you need not to apply again. Your pass is automatically valid till 17th May 2020 (lockdown period).
