The DBRAU was established in 1927 and was formerly known as Agra University. It is a state University and approved by UGC. Currently, the University has 15 residential institutes and 200 affiliated colleges spread over four residential campuses, namely Chhaleshar campus, Civil Lines campus, Khandari campus, and Paliwal Park campus. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University is also associated with the colleges of Homeopathy.
The university is growing as a centre for job-oriented education and higher scientific vocational education which encourages innovative research. DBRAU offers to influence education in the pursuit of consistent adherence and excellence by distributing knowledge and promoting research. Since its establishment, the university has served the cause of higher education, especially in northern India. A constant sincere endeavour has been always carried out by the university to ensure their student’s future and make them ready for the corporate field and the competitiveness in the outside world.
The University now caters to the educational need of the seven districts of Agra Division Agra, Aligarh, Mainpuri, Hathras, Firozabad, Etah and Mathura. Admission Process
DBRAU admission process is completely online. Candidates are required to fill the web-registration form post which they can fill the application form. An entrance exam is also conducted by DBRAU. The university also provides Ph.D. courses.
