What is a SET Exam?
A Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to Symbiosis institutes. SET exam is a gateway for admissions to undergraduate courses such as Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Design, Mass Communication, Computer Studies, Liberal Arts and Culinary Arts.
SET exam 2021 is likely to be conducted in the first week of May 2021. The SET admission process is likely to begin in the last week of January 2021 and the application window will close in the last week of April 2021. SET 2020 results were announced on August 12, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria 2021
- The aspirant must have cleared class 12 or equivalent examinations in relevant stream from a recognised board or university with minimum 50% aggregate ( 45% for SC/ST category students)
- Candidates in class 12 or awaiting their class 12 result are also eligible to apply but they will have to submit a passing certificate
- A candidate who has completed class 12 or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

Admission Process 2021
SET exam 2020 is a three-step process that includes application submission, SET 2020 exam and Personal Interview/Written Ability Test.
STEP 1: Fill the SET application form
The candidates can apply for SET 2020 by filling SET application form available online on the official website. They need to register on the SET website as a new users. On successful registration, the candidates will be able to access the application form. Payment of application fee of Rs 1750 can be made online only through net banking or by credit/debit card.
STEP 2: Download SET admit card
SET e-admit card were issued to registered students on June 11, 2020. Admit cards for SET (B) was available for download on July 7. The candidates can download their respective admit cards from the official website.
STEP 3: Appear for SET exam 2020
SET exam 2020 will be held on the scheduled date in IBT mode across the country. The candidates must be present at the venue along with the admit cards and one identity proof (Driving license, Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport).
STEP 4: Check SET result 2020
SET result 2020 will be announced on the official website. Selected candidates will be called for WAT/PI round. Each institute will release their own cut off post SET result. The candidates are advised to check individual websites.
STEP 5: Appear for SET WAT/PI
The candidate must carry all the relevant documents (original and photocopy) to the WAT/PI round. Admission will be granted on the basis of a candidate’s overall performance in SET and WAT/PI.
