The SRM University Chennai is a top-ranking deemed university that is part of the SRM Group of Institutions. SRM IST has a total of four campuses out of which the main campus is situated in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. Admission Process
SRM IST grants admission to most of its programmes through national-level entrance exams or on the basis of merit scores obtained in the qualifying exam followed by a counselling process. Admission to Engineering and Management courses is based on deemed university-conducted SRMJEEE and SRMJEEM exams, respectively. Candidates seeking enrolment can apply both online and offline. - This deemed university grants 50% fee waiver to students who obtain more than 95% marks in the CBSE examinations or their respective state board examinations
- Founder’s Scholarship to toppers of JEE Main, SRMJEEE and other state/national-level entrance exams
- Students who are accomplished in sports or happen to have some socio-economic limitations are also considered for a number of scholarships
